We very much enjoyed our weekend stay at Minster Lodge. The location is excellent, parking is provided, and the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The landlady, Rachel, is friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts are superb. Overall we were very impressed and would certainly return.

We stayed for 2 nights as we were attending a family wedding in Lincoln.There were 12 of us (8 adults 3 children and 1 baby)in 4 rooms including 2 spacious family rooms.Rachel made us very welcome and we felt very much at home in this lovely house.All the rooms were spotless and well furnished with lots of storage space.Breakfast is amazing - as well as the usual full English, pancakes and freshly made smoothies are also on offer.The DVD and book library is a thoughtful addition. A brilliant location as only 2 minutes from the historic centre of Lincoln-parked the cars and walked everywhere. We cannot speak too highly of this B&B. It is excellent and we hope to return.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and everything was excellent, the room was big and clean, the batheroom was huge a bath and shower in. The breakfast was excellent too,cereal,full english and toast lovely,Rachel is lovely too,nothing is to much trouble.Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Lincoln.Can't wait to go back!!!!

We stayed at Minster Lodge for 2 nights and everything about our stay there was excellent The room was spotlessly clean, we ate and enjoyed good hearty breakfasts and we were made to feel very welcome. We would have loved to have spent more time exploring Lincoln and the surrounding area hopefully we can return soon. We can highly recommend this B&B.

We stayed at the Minster Lodge for 2 nights, was really impressed with the room we stayed in, the bed linen was spotless as was the room, excellent service, the breakfast was fantastic, a choice of full english, variety of cereals etc definately worth the money, i advise anyone coming to visit Lincoln to book here. 5 star all the way EXCELLENT!! . Being a week on business in Lincoln (23/01/2011 to 30/01/2011) I sought good accommodation. I have generally not been impressed with guest houses but the Minster Lodge looked ok. From the moment you walk in the door you feel at home. The decor is excellent, the rooms (tried two) offer space and are very comfortable. The bed linen was immaculate and both my rooms had a bath and shower. There is a colour TV and free internet access in each room. The lounge is comfortable and a nice place to sit. The breakfast made with fresh produce set me up for the day and so there was no need for lunch. Rachel even sorted out my flight tickets. If you have to go to Lincoln for any reason this is the place to stay because its good you will be looked after. First class. Thanks to Rachel and her team.

i have stayed at the minster lodge a number of times and found my stays very enjoyable it is very comfortable and cosy i even recommened to my friend and they agree with me so a big thank you goes to all the staff at the minster lodge!

The Minster Lodge comes highly recommended. Very clean comfortable accommodation. Rachel who was our hostess made us very welcome and provided us with a fantastic breakfast. This is an excellent base for the Christmas Market or for visiting Lincoln`s old quarter with lots of historic buildings, pubs, Restaurants and shops. The unique oldy worlde atmosphere is great. Rachel is a delightful hostess looking after a very comfortable and elegant guest house, easy walking distance from the cathedral in Lincoln. We were passing through really, but sorry that we were not spending more time here because the quality of the service was excellent. Very comfortable room, living room, and the breakfast was very good indeed. Thank you.

I have returned several times to this lovely Guest House. The decoration is tasteful and encourages a feeling of calm and relaxation. The place is beautifully clean and tidy, and there is lots of space. For me, the highlight of my visits is being made so welcome by Sue. I will certainly come back whenever I can. Thanks Sue!

Minster Lodge offers spacious, light, elegantly-decorated & furnished rooms ... and quiet! The breakfasts are freshly cooked & generous. I have stayed before at Lincoln's famous White Hart Hotel ... & Minster Lodge is both less pricey & a nicer place to stay.

I adored it all from the moment I walked through the door and was met by the 'gorgeous' Sue, a true asset to any establishment where people are coming to stay! Nothing was too much trouble and the response to "I might run tomorrow" was met with two bananas left in my room for energy! The room was delightful, the breakfasts were exquisite, especially as the scrambled eggs were from her own special chicks! A truly wonderful and memorable stay, I can't wait to stay again!
